Friends with Benefits

The Friends with Benefits program applies to all Flat Mobile cell phone plans from Digital Republic. Currently, this includes Flat Mobile Swiss, Flat Mobile, and Flat Mobile Plus. To ensure that your plans are included in the group discount, you must have an active payment method on file in your customer account and your SIM card must be activated.

If you don’t have an active Flat Mobile subscription, you can still remain in the group. However, after 30 days without an active Flat Mobile subscription, you will be automatically removed from the group. To prevent this, make sure you have at least one active Flat Mobile subscription within that time frame.

If you already have multiple active Flat Mobile plans on your account, their total number is immediately factored into your discount. This means you can still take advantage of the Friends with Benefits discount on your own if you have multiple plans or manage plans for your family through your account.

There is no limit to the number of SIM cards that can belong to a group.

Yes, but for annual plans, the discount doesn’t take effect until the current billing period ends. This means your subscription won’t be cheaper until the next time your annual plan renews. Of course, your subscription will be included in the group right away when you join.

Good news! If you port your number to Digital Republic and the porting date is still far in the future, you’ll still remain part of the group. However, your subscription won’t count toward the discount until it’s active. As soon as the porting is complete and you start using your Flat Mobile plan, your subscription will count toward the group discount.

The discount is always applied at the time of payment. For example, if you sign up for a new Flat Mobile plan while another one is still active, the discount for the new tier is applied right away. That means you benefit immediately.

No, you can only belong to one group at a time. If you want to join another group, you must first leave your current group and then join the new group using its invitation link.

Each “Friends with Benefits” group can have up to 15 members. Once the group is full, no one else can join. You don’t have to worry about managing the invitation link. As soon as someone tries to join a full group using the link, they’ll automatically be notified that the group is already full.
